Light Work for Heavy Industry

Using lights, sound and special effects, a giant blast furnace was brought back to life in The Big Melt. Our role was to adapt an overhead gantry crane to move an automated lighting rig, leading visitors along the exhibit. Qmotion® made the task simple, moving the crane repeatedly in a precise sequence of moves. We also constructed several scenic elements to make the setting look as it would when steel was still being made.
