Ancient History of the 1980’s

These self-contained mobile pods were constructed from steel frames, clad in MDF with acrylic panels to three sides. The interiors, each depicting an aspect of 1980's technology, recreated the look and feel of a series of tableaux from a small provincial museum, using props and detailing completely faithful to the 1980's. We created backdrops, figures and props, sourcing additional items to recreate a wine bar, record shop, office and a 'lost' car.
