We constructed a number of different items for this photographic exhibition at the Royal Geographic Society but perhaps the most notable were the giant framed monoliths used to display a series of ten, specially commissioned 4m high, Alastair Thain portraits. The glass alone weighed in at half a tonne per unit, with the whole series of having to be set into a specially built concrete floor: suitably huge portraits for some giants of the adventuring world.
