Scene Stealing in the Promised Land

For this production at the Marlowe Theatre, we provided three large steel portals and a tracking wall, also undertaking some unusual alterations to the stage; creating a rake similar to a wave rising and breaking over the rear, then painted to resemble a ploughed field. The opera is set against the backdrops of hop picking and mining and we provided scenery and props appropriate to both, including a section of hop poles with hops and a pit wheel.
