Using Technology to Special Effect

Our super-fast winches enabled the safe implementation of various stunts on the Lara Croft films whilst our Qmotion control system also operated and controlled several special effects movements. Working with Special Effects Supervisor Chris Corbould, we 'flew' a log, provided a 9.5m/s camera track for the filming of a big wave, provided catenery camera tracks, controlled rigs in an aerial fight and allowed two artists to fall off a cliff at 6m/s.
