UKTI Collaboration Seminar
We were in London recently, delivering a seminar supported by the UKTI, entitled ‘Collaboration – What this means for creative businesses’. The way in which we are approached by clients as well as the way we, in turn, approach the unique projects they bring us, has changed a great deal over the years.
Collaboration has played an increasingly vital role in delivering ground breaking projects such as the Athens 2004 Olympic ceremonies; the Serpentine Gallery pavilions and the Chanel Mobile Art pavilion – right through to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic ceremonies which bore the fruits of our biggest ever technical collaboration.
As part of the UKTI Creative Industries Taskforce, the seminar was an opportunity to communicate not just what we do but, more importantly, the diverse ways in which collaboration can create new solutions, bring different disciplines together and drive decisions. The session generated lively discussion about how we might encourage a better climate for working together as a group of companies and with the creative industries at large.
