Looking to the Future: Automation
We’re continuing to make great advances in the capabilities and sophistication of our automation products. In recent months we’ve made three appointments that add yet more heavyweight skill to our highly experienced Qmotion department.
Mark Jackson joins us as Head of Automation. With fourteen years of industrial control experience he is responsible for successfully delivering technical solutions. Sam Thompson is a Physics PhD graduate joins us from York University. Amongst other tasks, Sam is applying MATLAB to produce models and animations to enable our Qmotion software to better manage the challenge of momentum and pendulums within flying systems. And finally, Joel Fergusson is a recent electronic and computer engineering graduate who is thoroughly enjoying the variety of technical challenges that are passed his way on a daily basis.
Director of Qmotion, Karl Bromage commented ‘We’re raising our game. Client requirements from control systems are becoming increasingly more complex and our work on animation and profile modelling is allowing them to better perceive their visions. The degree of refinement we can offer is accelerating.’
We are launching our new series of drives and control consoles in the New Year. Get in touch with us here to come and take a look at the developments we have in the pipeline.
