Investors in People Accreditation
We have recently been re-awarded the Investors in People accreditation for the sixth time. This internationally recognised standard is held by just 10,000 organisations around the world and defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well.
The recent assessment was based on responses from 110 of our staff from all areas of the business. The results were encouraging, in particular, 95% of respondents found the work at Stage One interesting and 89% of them had a clear understanding of the organisational vision and objectives. Encouragingly, 81% of respondents agreed that Stage One was a great place to work.
The assessment process did highlight areas where continual improvements can be made. In particular, we will be working on consistency of leadership, better communicating strategy and further embedding the organisational values into all of our business processes. Improved comms and training and development will be just some of the tools that we will use to implement these improvements.
Perhaps most significantly, the majority of employees recognise that Stage One embraces change. And it’s this willingness to improve that will continue to drive the business forward.
We’re grateful to IIP for their guidance and for all of our staff that were involved in the re-accreditation process.
