Silver-gilt Medal for Myeloma UK Garden
We are delighted that the Myeloma UK Garden won a Silver-gilt medal at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. This was our third time helping deliver elements for a garden at Chelsea. It’s immensely rewarding to work on projects designed to be shown off in a beautiful garden setting. There’s a theatrical element to show gardens that also plays to our strengths and experience, likewise the immovable deadline of the Show’s opening and race to the horticultural equivalent of ‘curtain up’.
In 2013, we worked with the Landscape Agency and Professor Nigel Dunnett, creating a bird hide, skyline backdrop and range of features for the RBC Blue Water Roof Garden.
More recently, we’ve worked with award-winning garden designer and sculptor John Everiss on two occasions. In 2016 we created a carved man for the Meningitis Now Garden and this year, we realised his design for a vast head and hands sculpture for Myeloma UK’s Garden.
We enjoy the process of working collaboratively with artists and designers. It draws on our unique mix of creative manufacturing skills, as well as utilising some of our huge range of specialist machines. If you have a potential project you think we can help with, please get in touch.
