Sports Personality of the Year 2021
A decade of building SPOTY for the BBC! This flagship of UK sporting characters was designed by Dominic Tolfts in 2020 and was refreshed for 2021.
We crafted the initial high-gloss main stage with treads, ramps, and handrails. We also supplied large flown scenic logos, lightbox frames, and screen surrounds. Additionally, we provided structural engineering services to inspect the set once installed at Dock 10 in Salford.
While we were re-using a set, that didn’t mean allowing any wear to show. The set went through our workshops for a quality checks and refurbishment, so when it came time to broadcast, it was in pristine form.
