Learning how to prepare materials including filling & sanding and preparing surfaces using metal, wood or plastic part to sand or ground surface.

Learning how to ensure all surfaces are prepared to give the best possible finish.

Learning how to apply primer coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats, developing basic spraying skills.

Be trained on the application of Paint System and be trained on and develop competency in mixing paints using a schemed database system.

Learn how to and practice applying base coats and lacquer finishes, developing skills and competency over time.

Learn to use internal ERP system for signing off stages in production.

Begin to become familiar with CAD drawings, undertake training on CAD drawings and systems.

Build knowledge of different materials.

Learn about the storage of paint waste in accordance with Environmental procedures.

Make a valuable contribution to the Prime Paint department and contribute to the project workload.

Work on improving speed, technique, and accuracy over time.
