CAD Designer

We are currently looking for experienced CAD Designers to join our busy CAD Department based in Tockwith, near York.

The role requires a good communicator who is diligent, hardworking, and reliable. You should demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, and a high attention to detail in your work. You will be required to work on multiple projects producing various drawing types, including fabrication, woodwork, and general arrangement. Reporting to the CAD Manager the successful applicants will have the following main duties:

• Produce manufacturing drawings
• Produce general arrangement drawings
• Produce 3D models using Autodesk Inventor
• Produce BoMs to allow procurement of materials
• Provide technical support to the Production Team

Fabricators

We are currently looking for Freelance or Fixed-term contract Fabricators to join our day shift (06:00 - 16:00 hrs) & evening shift (15:45 - 00:15 hrs Monday to Friday) in the busy Metal Workshop Department based in Tockwith, near York.

Labourers/FLT Drivers

Stage One is a creative construction and manufacturing company, generally working within the architectural, theatre and events industries.
We are very busy with project work and looking for General Labourers to assist within our Operations team.

Proven experience within a construction, workshop or warehouse environment is essential.

Key responsibilities will include the safe loading and unloading of trucks and using counterbalance or sideloader FLT's, as well as general support within the production departments.
A Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence is desirable and additional plant training would be an advantage, but not essential.

We have day and evening shifts available, standard day shift hours are 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday, evening shift hours are 15.45 - 00.15, + regular overtime (at time and a half) and occasional Saturday work. Due to rural location, own transport would be ideal.

Department Supervisor – Wood Workshop Evening Shift

We are currently looking for experienced Department Supervisor to run our very busy Wood Workshop based in Tockwith, near York. The core hours of work will be 15:45 - 00:15hrs.

Applicants need to have previous experience within a wood workshop and the ability to produce bespoke as well as multiple built items with tight timescales, when required. You also need to be reliable, hard-working and flexible to work overtime on a regular basis, occasional day shifts may be required. Being a team leader as well as a team player is important and open mindedness to work along-side other departments to meet project requirements.

Formally qualified in carpentry / joinery skills
Previous experience of supervising / managing a team within a workshop environment and leadership qualities
