Before the pandemic, the set was built for an arena. Everything was on a larger scale, from the footprint of the building, the stage, and fly deck.
A detailed drawing of the entire stage that would be broken into sections for fabrication purposes and assembly.
Despite repurposing a majority of the set, Stage One’s in-house structural engineers curate a structural report each year to provide sign off and check the set is safe to use.
To minimise wastage, the set is de-rigged and safely stored at the Stage One facility in Tockwith. This provides our client with the knowledge that the set is secure and allows them to impact their environment by reusing the same set year on year.
