2020 was the ninth year we had been commissioned by the BBC to build and install the set for their flagship show Sports Personality of the Year. Designed by Dominic Tolfts, this was a new set that reflected the reduced number of people that were able to take part in the live show in person this year.

We crafted a high-gloss main stage with treads, ramps and handrails. We also supplied large flown scenic logos, lightbox frames and screen surrounds. Additionally, we provided structural engineering services to inspect the set once installed at Dock 10 in Salford.

Inevitably, this was a different project than in previous years. However, it was great to continue our association with the show and a superb note on which to end the year.
