This high profile event required a top quality finish, with high-gloss black laminate, MI Strip lighting and crinkled aluminium sheeting used to provide interest across the whole of the 48m wide stage area in this huge venue. The main structural feature was the series of four MI Strip lined arches ranging from 2.5m to 6.5m high, which formed an impressive entrance ‘tunnel’ onto the stage. The largest arch took the form of a curved ‘V’ shape, the apex reaching a prominent 6.5m high with the tips at stage level standing 7m apart.

We also provided ten 7m high ‘ribbon’ features; ‘SP12′ logos with integral halo lighting; screen surrounds and two sweeping 12m long illuminated ramps for the nominees’ entrances, providing a suitably striking walk onto stage for the sporting high-achievers of 2012.
