Purple Popper Performs Perfectly
This 5.5m high, 3m diameter working party popper showered the waiting public at the Stratford shopping centre with confetti, streamers and 100 opportunities to grab Olympic tickets.
Constructed from a rolled steel frame and then clad in ply, the Cadbury-purple popper required a heavy base and central column for support.
In keeping with the spontaneous nature of the giveaway, it was installed overnight and disappeared without trace the following evening…
