It was a pleasure to host an evening at the Serpentine Pavilion this summer. It is a unique opportunity to engage with our colleagues and friends outside of projects, to experience the Pavilion as guests rather than constructors.
This build marks our sixteenth consecutive delivery; a legacy that has resulted in a refined project development process, in strong partnerships with all parties of the collaboration, and in an enviable portfolio of architectural experimentation.
The Pavilion of 2025, titled A Capsule in Time, was designed by architect Marina Tabassum and her firm Marina Tabassum Architects (MTA). A timber structure composed of four modules over an elongated footprint; the Pavilion was designed around a Gingko tree at its heart. Its delicately curved form is juxtaposed against its angular polycarbonate panels. Its colour palette harmonises with its natural surroundings and yet it still presents itself strikingly in the park
This year’s Pavilion is a favourite for many who attended on the evening. It was wonderful to hear your feedback and we thank all of those who joined us on the night.
