The Automation Developer is responsible for assisting the Senior Automation Developer and Automation Director in the development of the next generation of Qmotion Automation control equipment and systems. They will assist with specifying, manufacturing and testing components for Automation control systems as well as providing insightful input into research and development projects.

Develop, commission and test new products and components for use as part of the Stage One Automation control system.

Learn and develop skills in embedded programming, micro controller programming and PLC programming.

Make upgrades and adaptations to existing products and components to fulfil a new purpose or change in specification.

Undertake independent research to identify the best components that can be used in our latest generation of products.

Be able to apply logical and methodical fault-finding techniques and document your work to provide a coherent information trial.

Interpret schematic diagrams and adhere to manufacturing standards.

Assist with the creation and completion of Automation project documentation and testing records.
08
Bring new and creative ideas to the Automation department.
