We are currently recruiting for an apprentice within our metal shop. This is an exciting opportunity that will provide a fantastic welding experience working on a variety of bespoke projects. Working within our metal fabrication department carrying out welding and fabrication tasks on a range of projects, duties will include: welding and fabrication of steel, drilling and grinding of steel, daily manual handling, operating welding and plant equipment and the safe use of metal fabrication power tools.

Stage One Apprentices will experience one-of-a-kind projects that will accelerate their development and they will also experience team working at its best. Not only will apprentices complete their qualifications and coursework at college, but they will also be starting on a fantastic career path with an exciting and dynamic company.

Apprentices will study at York College (this may be day or block release each week, depending on the course) and then be based at our office and workshops in Tockwith on the outskirts of York. Please note the location (YO26 7QF) as public transport is limited.

Working hours will be 7.30am-4.00pm.
