We manufactured these specially designed aluminium word cloud sculptures for the global launch of the new Jaguar XE sports saloon. The design featured ninety-five different words in seven different languages, all expressing the aesthetics and characteristics of the new car.

Working with the designs from Jaguar, we developed the 3D drawings and determined the best method of manufacture, drawing on specific experience gained in font distortion while manufacturing the London 2012 Olympic cauldron.

We were carefully managed the potential pitfalls presented by two dimensional text wrapped around a three dimensional model, appropriately distorting the text so it would appear legible when sculpted around the form of the car. Bespoke trucking plinths were made for both sculptures.
