For the start of the new Premier League season, NBC Sports wanted a pitch side desk for their presenters to use before and after the game for build-up and interviews.
We’ve worked with NBC Sports for 12 years producing multiple sets for their Premier League coverage. This desk needed to be light weight and easy to transport as their team have to lift it on and off the pitch very quickly, and store nearby during the game.
The desk is made from GRP to maintain a light load whilst being robust. It allows us to form the geometry without layering heavy timber and machining. It was finished with a hardwearing spray paint.
