Singapore Bicentennial Experience
After being approached by representatives from Singapore’s Prime Ministerial Offices, we provided the elements for two acts of The Bicentennial Experience, which aimed to bring Singapore’s momentous evolution from 1299 to life.
Act One comprised a travellator on which actors performed, positioned between an LED backdrop that blended human actors with video content and an audience facing gauze layer. We also installed a track system moving flags towards the performers, as well as providing the automation control for the heavy-duty cycle of eight shows a day, six days a week.
For Act Three, we manufactured and installed a revolve and a set of sliding doors onto which video content was projected. The exhibition aimed to be immersive, and this mechanism enhanced certain elements with the doors sliding in a circular fashion to reveal an opening for the audience.
The exhibition was hugely successful and well received by visitors of all ages.
